Preemptive Bidding



When an opponent preempts the auction, getting to the right spot is often near impossible. It is important to do the best and make sure the same thing is done to the opponents but not partner. When partner has little defense and can raise the preempt, a difficult situation for the opoonents has become more difficult.

High-level contracts are not the most common aspect of bridge. That distinction belongs to part-score contracts. However, high-level contracts are certainly the most flashy part of bridge and sometimes the most enjoyable.
