Negative Free Bids are just different not better than existing methods.
When partner uses a NFB he shows a range from 5 to 11 HCP. I need to know whether a partner is close to 5 or to 11. A new suit at the two-level should be
10 HCP's unless RHO doubles. A redouble shows 10 or more. To show a weak long suit, partner rebids it after limiting his hand with 1NT or
a negative double.
