The Climate Change Narrative
There is no climate emergency, and CO2 is needed to green the environment and to increase food production. The science of climate change has been hijacked by politicians who use climate-change fearmongering to control the electorate and
its corporations. Their tactics involve the vilification of the carbon dioxide
("CO2"), a greenhouse gas, generated by the consumption of hydrocarbon fuels
(aka "fossil fuels"),
which are required to maintain a modern standard of living. A greenhouse is impossible without a glass ceiling. Will Canadian students be able to compete against those international students who are being
taught science properly without a
hidden political agenda?
Perhaps hot air from well-intentioned misinformed politicians is also a greenhouse gas, except it is more dangerous than CO2.
The Democratic party according to Fox News may be requiring people to become
vegans to eliminate the production of methane from cows. We must save the flatulent cow.
Climate change started out as global warming but the name
had to change because global warming ended in 1998.
The political drive to reduce society's CO2
(aka "carbon") footprint is based on the CO2-induced, global warming hoax.
CO2 is plant food; that is, it is a substance of life as a vital component of the carbon cycle and photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis, a biological process, 'greens' the planet. Photosynthesis is indeed good.
Conservative political commentator, writer and editor-in-chief of the Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro,
has a good perspective on carbon.
Climate alarmists live in the delusional computer world of fake climate models, where anything is possible using the modern 'pixie dust', CO2; including,
but not limited to, global warming, global cooling, droughts, famines, floods, rising seas, earthquakes, hurricanes,
forest fires, etc., etc., etc. I wonder how they
explain the six warm periods, and intervening cold periods, since the end of last glaciation period 10,000 years ago -
the Wisconsin Glaciation Period.
It is well established that global cooling has been the greatest climate threat
to civilizations (eg. The Little Ice Age 1300-1850). In Dr. Thorpe Watson's letter to the editor of January 4th, 2019,
"Civilizations have prospered during
the warm periods but have experienced economic hardship during the intervening cool periods."
Even greater climate threats are the cyclic glaciations every 100,000 years when Canada is covered by a mile of ice. Canada has been covered more than twenty-three
times during the last 2.67 million years of the current Holarctic-Antarctic Ice Age. We are now approaching the end of an intervening warm period called the
Holocene Interglacial. This glaciation period shouldn't be confused with the new Little Ice Age, which we are now entering.
Hopefully, it is not the successor to the Wisconsin Glaciation Period!
The alarmist, climate-change narrative seems to ignore simple harmonic motion (natural climate variability) and claims that man can overcome
the force of nature with
CO2. It is delusional to believe that restricting the generation of CO2 will stabilize the planet's climate.
Man cannot control Mother Nature in so many aspects, so why it is assumed man can control or materially influence climate?
The mighty dollar seems to have an influence in the creation of computer models which
cannot even predict what has happened not
to mention what is going to happen.
"Ninety-five per cent of the computer models agree that the observations must be wrong," says
Dr. Roy Spencer.
Alex Epstein says that the "97% of climate scientists agree with climate change"
claim is a deliberate misrepresentation designed to intimidate the public ... and numerous scientists
whose papers were classified by Cook protested.
Perhaps the main purpose of villifying CO2 is to curb the use of fossil fuels. Environmentalist Michael Shellenberger
(Environmental Progress president) was on Fox News'
Tucker Carlson on Feb 28th, 2019. He wrote an article for Quillette
titled "Why Renewables Can't Save the Planet." He told Tucker, "We have been finding the lower the energy density of the fuel,in this case the sunlight
and the wind, the bigger the environmental impact. You just have to use much more natural resource including land to generate very much electricity."
Daniel Turner, Power the Future Executive Director, was on Fox News'
Tucker Carlson on January 31st, 2019. Tucker asked him, "We are going to get rid of fossil fuels and switch to
something called renewables in a
dozen years. Could we do that?"
Daniel replied, "Not at all. The technology does not exist right now...
The largest solar farm in the nation does not produce enough kilowatts to power the NYC subway system. That farm is 4000 acres,
which is five times the size of Central Park...
There is not the land to come up with the solar farm or the wind necessary to have these renewables."
